It was a pleasure and an honor to have had Diana on the team of facilitators in our EDP leadership trainings in the Ghanaian cocoa sector. The way she has managed the task of a cross-cultural 'in-between' and promoter of dialogue was excellent, also in comparison according to my experience with various EDP facilitating teams between 2002 and 2019 in various countries in both Africa and Europe. Without making a lot of fuzz about it, the way she puts into reality the shared values of humanity and those based on the social teaching of my own (Catholic) Church (e.g. the principles of personhood, solidarity and subisdiarity, the preferential option for poor and marginalized people) was an asset to our work. Diana Tsitsiwu graduated from my Valuation Master Class Module 1 after completing all assignments. The course covers basic accounting and financial statements as well as financial forecasting, followed by an in-depth analysis of the financial performance of one company. It also covers nine common valuation mistakes and how to avoid them. Finally, the course wraps up with lessons on absolute and relative valuation as well as a sensitivity analysis. Passing Module 1 takes about 20 hours, and because it is purely self-study, completion demonstrates a true commitment to learning finance and valuation.
