Youth service managers had real doubts about how YOF/YCF could be safely and effectively managed by the already overstretched services. This is where the fund and management team was set up. Who better than the youth of the borough? Our task was to distribute £300,000 of the government’s money to projects and youth in the Borough. This allowed communities to improve local services and facilities via application for funds through being granted by us.
