As an Assistant Director South Asia for University of Vermont, I work directly with the Associate Director of Admissions in Burlington, Vermont. My role is to represent UVM in the region of South Asia including Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India. It also includes supporting the marketing and recruitment initiatives to be taken in these regions. It involves me undertaking the below given activities: - Present UVM at several international, national and state board schools all over India for class 9-12 students and educating them about different programs that UVM has to offer - Guiding these students on the right path in order for them to decide what programs would be a ood fit for their career - Relationship building and Outreach with high school counsellors and other higher education officials - Participating in different kinds of school/education/college fairs, forums, events and conferences and promoting UVM and its 100+ Undergraduate programs - Counselling students and parents and being their one single point of contact for any query related to University of Vermont - Guiding students throughout the entire application process who are interested to help them take a decision - Helping the university by supporting its marketing and commutation activities in India Show less
