      • Apr 2022 - Jul 2023

Currently, I serve as the main liaison in regards to improving attendance as well as helping with pastoral levels school-wide, producing in-depth reports and concise visuals enabling senior faculty to understand timelines, identify key gaps and develop relevant solutions and strategies. With my strong analytical skills, I sift and evaluate complex datasets pertaining to attendance statistics, regularly reviewing data and information retrieved from multiple sources to conduct assessments and write quarterly reports. I also support optimisation and administering of new attendance systems and behavioural frameworks. I help plan, organise and facilitate assemblies and workshops to expand on staff’s understanding across specific wellness and pastoral areas, and to increase staff’s abilities on working with students and fulfilling their welfare needs. I also host and lead meetings with parents to discuss concerns on attendance, behaviour and underperforming areas On a regular basis, I coordinate with the EWO to discuss ways on improving attendance, mitigating students’ classroom issues, and working closely to investigate and intervene accordingly on matters to realign priorities, benefitting students from schooling. As Attendance & Welfare Officer I monitor and assess attendance and behavioural statistics primarily using a data management system as well as software such as the MS Office Suite, and actively support the wellbeing and development of students at a diverse international boarding school. I regularly prepare spreadsheets and reports and liaise closely with colleagues while undertaking interventions if necessary to maintain students’ attendance and welfare. I organise and attend meetings across the school community and manage communications with external agencies including Visa compliance officers. I am also, involved with the school’s senior management team, attending and taking minutes at meetings and working to facilitate greater support for SEN students. In spite of the COVID-19 pandemic having dominated the majority of my tenure to date, I have been able to deliver an increase in overall attendance from 80% to above 90% across all programmes offered by the school. I have achieved this by consistently demonstrating strong initiative, organisation and responsiveness to changing situations as well as the ability to coordinate operations as part of a team. • Activity Leader/Student Learning Centre Support
      • Sep 2018 - Sep 2019

In this role I organised activities for student groups of all ages and helped to arrange/provide transport to and from functions as needed, also conducting risk assessments prior to events and completing all attendance registers and related paperwork. I was responsible for finalising and writing itineraries, making sure all necessary precautions were taken to ensure safe and enjoyable events for students. Other duties at the school itself included resolving various IT queries within the learning center and invigilating at end of term/year exams, for which I undertook formal training. Show less

    • DofE Coordinator & Leader
      • Sep 2018 - Sep 2019

In addition to my activity and learning center role I coordinated and led the delivery of the Duke of Edinburgh scheme at the school, managing all training and preparations and booking excursions to be undertaken as part of the program. I hosted weekly gatherings to provide additional support and insight to participants, always encouraging a full balance between their academic commitments and work towards the DoE award. Ultimately, eight of the nine participants who I led in their completion of the programme went on to attend highly-ranked universities, with the experience equipping them with the credentials and strength of character to perform highly at their chosen institutions.
