      Quantifying river response to human-caused change through sediment deposition. Sediment transport can be used as an indicator for stream channel recovery after any type of disturbance, whether that be flooding, climate change, change in land use, dam alterations, etc. Sediment mobility can be quantified by tracking the rocks on the bed of the stream.       "For six weeks, each intern will be paired with a VCU researcher/scientist, either on the Monroe Park campus or the MCV campus. Under the guidance of the lab mentor, interns will work on a research project.
