Responsible for all video conferencing and audio visual related services includingperforming technology guidance, meeting facilities set-ups, quality assurance, complexdiagnostics and technical support (remote and physically) to users in client- facing andpublic areas within Webber Wentzel’s offices. Key responsibilities:• Provide effective problem diagnostics (troubleshooting), technical support, problemresolution and training for all VC/AV services to end users.• Conduct daily checks of meeting room VC/AV equipment• Where necessary, liaise directly with vendors to resolve hardware issues andescalate as appropriate.• Escalate calls that require the attention of the other IT teams by utilising the correctescalation channels and call logging processes.• Be available on a rotational basis (including weekends and after-hours) to providesupport which includes logging of such calls on the IT system• Provide first line IT support to internal and external clients using the meetingfacilities.• Participate in all event planning and preparation activities thereby contributing tosuccess of such events and the reputation of the firm.• Provide VC/AV service preparation including boardroom set-up, system configurationand testing as per operational processes.• Participate in and contribute to knowledge transfer within the IT and Facilities teams.• Logging of VC/AV service requirements on the relevant booking and call loggingsystem for tracking and management as per Webber Wentzel processes.• Participate in and support for all VC/AV services provided by the IT and facilitiesdepartments.
