I conducted research on demography, habitat utilization, and movements of western pond turtles on the Trinity River. This entailed designing and supervising studies, hiring and training personnel, analyzing data, and reporting results. Techniques included mark-recapture via free-diving, radiotelemetry, mapping of aquatic and terrestrial movements using GIS, and quantifying habitat.
