  Promoted from Hospitality & Events Intern at Vacayzen. Currently responsible for scheduling and planning events in locations such as 30A, Destin, and Panama City Beach. These events can range from beach bonfires, surf camps, to eco fishing tours. In addition to these events, I am also in charge of the upcoming summer internship program for at least 50 individuals. Responsibilities include recruiting all interns by working with colleges to find qualified candidates. Handle all interviewing, hiring and communications related to onboarding for the program. Charged with finding housing for interns and managing the housing budget. Directly supervising all interns, which includes scheduling, determining workload allocation and handling any issues with the interns or the program. Ensure all interns uphold the integrity of Vacayzen and its values. Also responsible for recruiting non-intern positions for vacancies within the company.

  Responsible for scheduling and planning events during the summer. Coordinated with South Walton County for pulling event permits. Required organization and time management skills to ensure permits are acquired for all events, at the correct locations, based on the requested services, including bonfires and catered events. Worked in Sales and Customer Service Department communicating with potential and existing guests to accommodate their reservation requests and to sell and book any additional services. Worked with multiple systems, including IntegraSoft and Excel to book these reservations and to coordinate with internal teams. Supported operations in the field assessing logistics for event locations and assissting the team at camps and events.
