I am responsible for all switching from core layer to access layer and have flawlessly implemented distribution, and access layer switches. I have been the primary engineer in charge of overall device maintenance to include hardware replacement, software upgrades, and deployment of new network devices. As the engineer over the Cisco Ironport I have been in charge of day to day operations, hardware upgrade\replacement. I have also migrated Ironport to new domain authentication as well as multi-domain authentication while re-architecting all of the access control policies for greater security control. I have coordinated several wiring and re-wiring projects from copper to fiber. This includes new locations and optimization of current infrastructure. I am a backup for several different network and security devices. I am familiar with F5 load balancers, Cisco ASA Firewalls. While not my primary function I am proficient with the architecture, design, and operation of these devices. As a network engineer I have received the CCENT & CCNA certifications. I am currently studying for the CCNA Security and CCNP certifications.
