Our shift could be busy but she always had the time to review situations, equipment, medications, or questions on a call we ran. This continued thru my training as a Paramedic and I am grateful for her mentorship! Mentors play a key role in the development of a profession and inspire individuals to perfect their craft, challenging them to be uncomfortable (growth), and remaining open to feedback.
