Sarah North

I have known Deundra North (Johnson) for over 25 years and can say that she is a professional, hardworking, dedicated, and devoted teacher who is committed to developing well rounded and intelligent citizens in her students. Elementary education can be a challenge, but she has risen to all expectations and obstacles in providing her students with the very best. She started teaching 2nd grade and has been promoted to 4th grade due to her best practices when instructing her kids. Her students know that Mrs. North (Johnson) do not play and that when assignments need to get done there will be no excuses. Even her 2nd graders understood the importance of completing assignments in a timely manner and performing at their best when working in her class. Working with her 4th graders has also been a blessing when you challenge your students and they rise to that challenge. She is available after school to help any of her students that need additional help. She is always available as a resource for her students and a big advocate for their issues. Recently the school participate in a Junkanoo festival which her school has not participated in for years. Ms. North (Johnson) was one of the instrumental persons involved with every aspect for the event from coordinating fund raising, procuring the costumes and teaching the kids their dance moves. Her and the teacher of the year at her school worked diligently to demonstrate a successful presentation of the school at the festival, showing that their skills and pride for their school, Walter Parker Primary, Freeport Grand Bahama Island is limitless. Way to go! Another great proficient educator!
