  At the Purchasing Department we were ensuring that suitable materials and services are purchased to meet ship’s and company’s requirements. Department’s main objectives are the sourcing, evaluation and negotiation of offers from approved suppliers, as well as the timely procurement of goods and services on board the vessel or office with the aim of ships' safe operations, protection of the environment and the hygiene and well being of employees on board and ashore.
