As a selected participant of the Future M.D.s+ 2022 in STEM Virtual Summer Program, I communicated with a variety of Medical and STEM-Related Professionals: Neurologists & Genetics Fellows, Family Physicians, M.D. Candidates, Licensed counselors, Spine Doctors, Physiatrists, International Doctors, Physician-Scientists, and more! I participated in hands-on CPR, Mock Diagnosing, Mock Triaging, Medical Debate, as well as Interactive Workshops in Medicine and STEM. I was able to collaborate and participate in a program cohort of nearly 300 students and gained a first-hand insight into the medical and STEM fields. I also attempted to compete in the group research symposium to where we had to solve a problem. The problem was about Global Warming and human health. However, I was unable to present the the research with my group due to team issues. However, some ideas I contributed to researching on how to combat the negative affects of global warming on human health were genetically modified hearts to withstand the air pollution and creating a cardiovascular pollution pill to protect people who already have cardiovascular issues.
