I was promoted to a Managerial role within the Training & Development department at NTUC head office in August 1997 and served in this role until 2014.The Training & Development department at NTUC was responsible for equipping staff within the NTUC organisation with a range of different skills. I resigned from this role in 2014 after making the decision to immigrate to Perth with my wife.My role during this time was to facilitate and develop software & operational training, soft skills training, leadership training and team building throughout the NTUC network.Among my achievements in this role was being part of a small group that started the Fairprice Training Institute - a specialist training & development Institute within the group.
