Post Shell organisational Reshape, I have taken up the role of Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer - Gas, who primarily supports Shell upstream production assets in Sarawak waters. I am accountable for rotating equipment engineering delivery of activities, studies, troubleshooting and the management of threats and opportunities as a Technical Authority Level 2. As a Technical Authority (TA2), I provide governance and technical assurance in order to ensure that a safe and balanced view is considered prior to the implementation of activities, deviations from established procedures or standards. I focus on longer term strategic initiatives that benefit the assets in the long run, while supporting the sustainability of the day-to-day front line production through a team I lead.
