Main responsibility was to produce and submit the final reports. -Responsible for Earthing and Bonding Risk Assessment of the Centenary Square Extension(CSQE) including traction bonding, tram stop bonding and lineside equipment.-Used TRAIN software to update Birmingham City Centre Extension (BCCE) to ensure that the system will meet the demands of operations imposed on it without compromising the efficiency of the rail system and generated the tram timetable.

      •Worked in team on different schemes (Cumbria Coast Nuclear connection, Teesside and Deeside) to look for options on how to connect to the grid system new power generation. •Used operational diagrams and learned new software Visio to produce single line diagrams and stage by stage drawings for outages. These drawings show the existing arrangement of the work at the present time, the stage by stages lay out of the work and how the work will be done progressively until the final arrangement which shows the final product of the scheme.•Produced Transmission Procedure TP153 document and identified points of isolation and Earthing point from the system to make sure that during the work (outages) people working on the system are safe, also produced Scheme Requirement Document (SRD) which defines outages required for the scheme.•Organised, planned and hosted meetings. I organised a meeting for Deeside and North Wales scheme to prevent clashes that may occur during different outages and have a co-ordinated program for all the schemes in the region. I contacted and invited National Grid and Alliance’s employee involved on the scheme.•Gained good understanding of electrical substation components while working on site. My task on site was to support the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) and my input was to identify the hazards & dangers faced by contractors who were going to carry out the work
