Primary point of contact between development teams and clients by attending weekly meetings with clients to provide updates on order status, open defects and trouble tickets, future improvement projects, automation rates, and to discuss any current “pain points.” Lead investigations regarding client complaints, work with development teams on root cause analysis for major issues, and prepare correspondence with this data in a user-friendly, non-technical format for debriefings. First point of contact for defect escalations and tracking of high-priority issues, and general problem solving when orders are not successful. Responsible for client-facing communications the week before and after monthly software releases. Certified Scrum Master (Feb 2016 - Sept 2016) Knowledge of the SDLC and several agile frameworks including Scrum, XP, TDD, Pair Programming, Lean, and Kanban. Experience with release cycles from beginning to end including: sprint planning and grooming, daily standups, Scrum of Scrum meetings, defect tracking and resolution, scrum board creation and tracking, sprint retrospectives, and product demos for both testers and clients. As a contract Scrum Master for AT&T, I managed three teams simultaneously, reorganized their daily routines, implemented better communication methods for a distributed team, and worked to improve relationships between the development team and product owner delegates. Helped a team double in size, reduced time between development and testing, increased sprint cycle capacity, and proactively provided new development tracking reports to management. Show less

From there I transitioned to the youth Sunday School class and became Youth Pastor of Surge Student Ministries for five years. In February of 2006 I received ministerial credentials with the United Pentecostal Church International. During this time I also started teaching the adult Sunday School class on a rotation with two other men. Eventually I took responsibility for the teaching schedule and topic selection; now the adult teaching rotation includes multiple men and women and year round classes. I also began teaching one-on-one Bible studies. During my last four years at TCLC I systematically taught the Gospel message and most of the New Testament in a verse-by-verse format. In 2011 I transitioned to the leadership of Relevant – TCLC’s college and career age ministry. I also began teaching more in-depth, topical Bible studies for our mid-week service at the senior pastors request. For nine weeks (Feb-Mar) in 2011 I wrote and taught a financial literacy course. Around this time I also took on additional responsibilities, serving in an assistant pastor role. In 2012 we launched Deeper Word, a Bible College level series of theological classes for those interested in furthering their Bible education, but unable to attend Bible College. This was a fee based course with textbooks, class lectures, and assessments. Classes were structured at a freshmen college level and were 15 weeks long. The first class in the spring 2012 was “Hermeneutics A”. “Hermeneutics B” was offered in the fall of 2012. Show less
