To Whom It May Concern: This is a recommendation for Deserea Neimann. Deserea taught in the Social Studies department at Cleveland Public School from the fall of 2007 until February of 2011. I have found Deserea to be a student-centered teacher. She has provided many activities and opportunities to engage the students in her classes. The students find the subject matter interesting and are enthusiastic and eager to attend her class. Also, it is apparent that Deserea has an excellent rapport with students and parents. In addition to her effective teaching skills, Deserea gives of herself outside the classroom. She was co-advisor of the student council and directed the all school play. She is well organized and works hard to ensure that student have a successful experience. In conclusion, Deserea has been a very successful teacher at Cleveland Public School. I am pleased to recommend her for any teaching position in which she may be interested. Sincerely, Dawn Brown Principal

At College Living Experience, I taught personal financial management to students with Asperger’s Syndrome, autism, ADD, and learning disabilities. In addition to financial skills, I worked with each to master the skills required to live independently during their college transition program including interpersonal skills, lifestyle coaching, and career counseling.
