  My duties varied day to day and depending on what position I worked. If cashiering, I greeted every customer that came through the door while handling the jewelry counter, taking returns and processing them for quarantine (as this was during the height of the pandemic), and handling the monetary transactions. If a customer decided they did not want an item, it was set aside for me to take back and put on the floor when I had a break. If I was working fitting rooms I had to count items before they were taken in and after they were brought out to prevent Shortage and rehang the items usually to be ran back out to the floor at the end of my shift, as well as ensure the dressing rooms were clean. As a merchandise handler, I unloaded trucks and processed items (i.e. unpacking and assembling, or sorting and putting alarms on). Afterwards, the items would be placed on the floor and, if management asked, I rearranged displays.
