I became involved with the club in 2006 when my son joined the under 7 team. I was 'volunteered' to become the coach for the team, even though I was pretty short on knowledge of the game. It quickly became one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. The following year, I stood aside as coach to become team manager. In 2007/8 I was nominated and accepted a committee position as Junior Vice President, 2008/9 as committee member, allowing Duane Findley to step into the JVP role. 2009/10 season Club Secretary.
