I am enjoying my work at the "coal face" providing for my growing bank of individual clients. I specialise in Wealth Management in Retirement and Pension Consolidation. There is a lot of market activity with Defined Benefit Transfers at the current time, with pension multiples at, or about, an all time high. This is a complex area of the Financial Planning business that enjoy I getting my teeth into. I have decided to move on from Advisa and I have just finished my gardening leave at the end of August. I was encouraged to step up to Director by our regulator (Jersey Financial services Commission), after the resignation of the previous MD Chris Byrne to see the clients and staff to a "safe harbour". I have called a halt to my time at Brooks Macdonald on 12th December 2014 and taking an extended holiday some of which I will be spending at my home in the Scottish Highlands. I am back in Jersey from 22 June 2015 and will be looking for new opportunities.
