Responsible for the budgets, forecasting, planning, and management reporting of the global G&A, Sales, and Marketing groups. Our team utilizes a cloud EPM solution to aide us in managing budgets and forecasts, workforce planning, and management reporting. Interact with the leadership of the departments I am responsible for on a regular basis to get new information and learn how I can improve my partnership with their teams. My other team duties include sales order consolidation and reporting, publishing a quarterly internal executive summary of various financial and operational metrics, and quarterly updating of analyst and investor presentations. Participated in many cross-functional initiatives with IT regarding implementation and optimization of our ERP system. I have developed curriculum and conducted several training sessions, enabling Finance users to better leverage our ERP system and Atlas: an excel add-in. Atlas enables users to query large, complex data in the ERP system and upload batch journal entries and sales orders in the system. Value the experience of interacting with Finance users across the entire department because it has allowed me to build new relationships, learn the processes of other teams, and gain a big-picture view of how a Finance organization works. My favorite part of my job is being able to help people do their jobs more efficiently and effectively. I also love being able to build system skills alongside finance skills.

I supported the Workforce Development Team at Conexus-Indiana. By implementing the industry-developed "Hire Technology" curriculum in high schools, Conexus is working to address the skills gap between high school graduates and the Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics industry in Indiana. I worked to optimize the team's Excel knowledge base to allow for more efficient data aggregation. I also helped to leverage Outlook as a contacts manager to allow for easier communication with the various stakeholders of Hire Technology. We worked to utilize cloud capabilities to allow for collaboration on key documents in real-time. I have also taken part in the development of the Hire Technology curriculum and online course design via Ivy Tech's Blackboard learning management system.
