As CEO I worked with Derek in his role as Digital / ecommerce Manager at Birchwood Casey. I have worked directly with Derek on many ecommerce projects and he was a member of our strategy team and our branding team. Derek has strong business skills and quickly understood the opportunity Birchwood Casey had to improve our ecommerce sales. He initiated the tasks that needed to get done and selected and engaged the right outside partners we needed to move quickly. Derek created the right tracking mechanisms so we could see our progress each week. Derek was quick to make adjustments to our plan if something wasn’t working or if we learned more along the way. He was always open to suggestions. Derek was also able to challenge the status quo across the organization in a very positive way. I would enjoy working with Derek again.
