Key Responsibilities: • Designed, prototyped and managed production of point-of-sale units and self-service kiosks for South African industry • Prepared products and equipment for major brands including Toyota, MTN Cellular Network, Clover Dairy, Mintek Mining, Standard Bank and First National Bank • Ensured that all projects were correctly documented from beginning of design process through to handover and finalisation Key Achievements: • Led development of compact self-service kiosk to house touch screen and A4 thermal printer and accessories for Standard Bank South Africa • Designed unit and after successful presentation to client, built prototype to check ergonomics and fitment of all components. • Designed and manufactured compact, portable, robust, light-weight vending platform for Simba Potato Crisps. Developed scale model on 3D printer and reduced main body mould price substantially by designing it in two halves. • Engineered and manufactured ‘shrouds’ in 3 sizes with illumination to fit and attach to existing deployed kiosks for Tyme Bank. • Designed and manufactured brochure display unit holding 24 x A4 brochures for Toyota SA. Units are now part of Toyota’s showroom standard kit of parts. Show less

Key Achievements: • Designed and manufactured Orange Botswana cellular trolley, which acted as a mini service center. • Designed and manufactured a POS unit, with a built-in display area for Angelcare.
