RHJ ranks in the top 6% nationally among Press Ganey hospitals, is in the top 10% of VAs for growth in the last 5 years and is projected to be the 4th largest in % change of enrollees in the country through 2027. RHJ is the first VA to partner with Joint Commission and its state hospital association on high reliability and is a HRO pilot site. Research has 94+ investigators and 300+ projects funded at $31.2M annually (#1 in VISN 7; #8 Overall). As Acting Assistant Medical Center Director, I oversee operations and resource management for Community Care, Office of Information & Technology, Food & Nutrition, Logistics, Prosthetics, Community Engagement & Veteran Experience, Fisher House, Environmental Management Services, Privacy Office, Veterans Canteen Service, Police, and Chaplain Services. I attend all fiscal meetings and serve on the Resource Management Council. I also serve on the Clinical Executive Council, Quality Executive Council, Senior Executive Board, Incident Command Center, attend bi-monthly VISN 7 Executive Leadership Council retreats, annual Strategic Planning Retreats, weekly/daily VISN 7 COVID-19 calls, Morning Report, AM Huddle and chair the Veteran Experience Committee. I collaborate daily with leaders at every level in order to help formulate process improvement plans, solve acute problems and remove barriers to achieving desired outcomes. I am an active member in strategic planning across all services and wrote RHJ’s FY22 goals for the Veteran Experience and Stewardship pillars. I cover Associate Director service lines and responsibilities as needed. Show less
