Creating idea. Pitching idea. Securing funding. Implementing idea. Manage execution of idea and budget. Liaising with client. I wrote a book that was a best seller in South Africa called Witboy in Africa I had opinion columns in Rapport, Beeld, Die Burger, Volksblad and The Sunday Independent. I hosted two radio programmes on radio sonder grense I hosted my own TV talkshow on kykNet - SaterdagNag I was a judge on Afrikaans Idols (but please don’t hold it against me, the money was good and well paying jobs are sometimes hard to find) I worked extensively in other African countries making television programmes of which the most important one was the Gulder Ultimate Search in Nigeria. I was also Lucky Dube’s tour manager for Rwanda I made a few documentaries: Who Killed Johannes Kerkorrel? and Durban Poison were screened at European film festivals. I also made documentary films about Shangaan Electro, Bacardi House and Oppikoppi My new documentary film titled Punk in Africa, was screened at 60+ international film festivals including Durban, Rio, Rotterdam, NY, Los Angeles, Warsaw. I won four South African Film and Television Awards for the groundbreaking television show, Jam Sandwich. I did a countrywide series of workshops and distance learning teaching young people about how the music industry works. I did a series of social responsibility concerts called HipHopKop which aims to give a media platform for Afrikaans hip-hop. I did a reality television show for kykNET called, Fortuinsoekers. I have done some television advertising for Universal Music, Sony/BMG, the City of Johannesburg and Fifa. I am not very proud of this, but I have two children at university. Before this I was a journalist, news photographer, marketing manager for Marvel Comics (South Africa), record company executive, creative director for the South African Music Awards and various other things.
