      Business Development Accountabilities Generate sales on a daily basis and ensure achievement of sales volumes, growth and profitability. Range Selling of kakira Distillery limited (KDL) products in all allocated outlets. To understand each element of the outlets and KDL business plans and strategy for their implementation. Correct outlet segmentation and territory data capture. Distributor daily route coverage and Van Sales Men (VSM’s) management-right route plans and journey planning to cover all outlets in the territory with the correct frequency by the distributor VSMs and self. Daily van loading reviews to ensure that VSMs have loaded the correct mix of brands as per the route to be covered for the day. Ad Hoc VSM route audits to ensure that all outlets and routes are being covered as per VSM Journey plans- during nocturnal ( At least 3 nocturnal in a week) Achieve rate of sales diver standards in retail trade QDVPPP(Quality, Distribution, Visibility, Price, Promotions and persuasion) and standards in distributor VSM’s. To ensure distributor coverage and call frequency targets are achieved. To support the development of selling skills within external merchandisers or distributor VSM crews and retailer staff to achieve QDVPP standards without having to do it yourself. Supervises the VSMs & TDRs. Does spot check, Train or accompany the VSM & TDR to the trade to appreciate the managerial ability and recommend solution for observed short coming. Develop brand-building activities for the outlet to implement, run retail promotion activities to plan and run KDL promotional activities in outlet. Ensure optimum brand visibility and maximized sales in outlets through close liaison with the Sales Manager. Minimize the effects of all competitor brands in outlets with ethical guidelines.
