I am responsible for oversight of all IT functions across two locations, including IT systems, application development, network systems, Marketing and Communications technology, and Help Desk. Primarily, I lead the organization through the strategic development of a corporate IT plan that aligns with the company’s business objectives. My main initiatives during my tenure include: • Team building and Leadership – I have had the opportunity to rebuild the development team for Henry Wurst, Inc in my first 3 months. Hired 3 developers and stabilized an IT team that transitioned from legacy staff. In addition, I implemented project management and Key Performance Indicators to evaluate performance and decrease error rates. • Project Management – Led several key development projects at risk of failure to a successful outcome. These projects had direct customer impact and potential for significant lost revenue if not successful. In addition, I have led several other client-facing IT projects including development projects, IBM Watson email campaigns, Marketing storefront, and marketing email blast campaigns. Lastly, internal business and IT projects necessary to ensure success of business objectives. • Disaster Recovery and Information Security – Review and assess corporate disaster recovery and information security posture. Work with existing and new vendors to evaluate key areas for improvement. Create/Update appropriate policies and train the organization. Lead the formation of an Infosec/IT governance committee to provide oversight. • Client management – Working with the Sales team and account managers, interact directly with clients on IT projects, Information/data security, and Request for Proposal processes. • Corporate – Member of the Executive committee responsible for Strategic planning and corporate budgeting.
