  Primary customer contact to provide support for customer needs with commercial, engineering and quality items. Key activities include: • Collaboration with customers during development of new products. Provide services and recommendations such as DFM and DFT to enhance quality and manufacturability of customer products. • Assemble product cost analysis and prepare custom quotes for new and existing products to suit unique customer requirements. • Receive and review customer purchase orders and enter orders in MRP system. • Communicate order schedules and changes based on material and manufacturing capacity. Review material and manufacturing requirements for customer expedite requests and communicate opportunities for improved delivery. • Work with customer engineering personnel on component or assembly manufacturing issues and provide appropriate recommendations, provide feedback on related commercial items. Provide recommendations for design improvements to reduce overall assembly cost and improve quality. • Work with customers on review of slow moving and obsolete inventory for disposition. • Receive and review customer documentation for new assemblies or revisions to existing assemblies and provide feedback for quotes and technical items. • Work with accounting and customer personnel for resolution of any open invoice issues. • Facilitate regular customer conference calls to review order schedules, project status and open issues. • Assist with resolution for internal manufacturing or component issues. • Update management on project status and opportunities for new business.
