The Interim Chief Academic Officer (CAO; Sr. Associate Vice President) leads, plans, organizes, and administers academic programs and related support activities that serve the needs of the diverse student body at Mesa Community College (MCC). The interim CAO is critical in shaping, communicating, and executing the institution's academic vision and strategic direction, including assessment of learning and upholding accreditation standards, in the development and oversight of traditional academic and occupational education programs. The Interim CAO reports directly to and advises the President and is a key member of the College's senior leadership team who work collaboratively to ensure the College holistically meets the needs of our students and maximizes opportunities for the College community.
