I am currently seeking new job opportunities, both full-time and part-time, as I have automated many of my tasks and am looking for a new challenge to keep me engaged. My experience is diverse, having provided support and completed projects for clients across the United States, ranging from women's fashion designers in New York City and Los Angeles to high-profile attorneys, churches, small businesses, rural governments, and political candidates. I specialize in web and online-related work, as well as providing strategic advisory services and business development and streamlining. My expertise spans from web hosting and backend-level tasks to custom database creation, front-end design, and development. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with top-level executives, including founders and CEOs, to fulfill their requests and exceed their expectations. Furthermore, I have extensive experience in airbrushing raw images for fashion photographers, helping them achieve the final production images for their websites, look books, and magazines, including renowned publications such as Vogue and InStyle. Additionally, I have a passion for restoring old photos and improving their quality by removing blemishes and colorizing them. I have contributed my skills to various local entities, including museums and historical societies, on a pro bono basis. I am excited about the possibility of bringing my skills and experience to a new role and am eager to explore new challenges and opportunities. Show less

I was hired by SAIC in 2006 to provide developmental support on a web portal task and to design an Incident Resource Inventory Management system. In my first year, I accomplished several things, including creating a web-based questionnaire system called the Data Collection System (DCS) for the Test and Evaluation group. I also played a significant role in the development of the NIMS-IRIS software and provided support to the ESS project. In 2008, I developed the NIMS Supporting Technology Evaluation Program (NIMS STEP) website and provided graphics support for FEMA Standards Case Studies and NIMS Implementation Reports. In 2009, I improved the NIMS STEP and DCS websites and completed the development of the ESS Public website. In 2010, I started developing the IPAWS Conformity Assessment (CA) Website and provided support for various internal tasks. I also provided technology/infrastructure support, impromptu technical support, and document/graphics creation. Show less

I was built, updated, and managed various websites for non-profit and internal clients at my former company, Nortel/PEC. I created custom web applications in ASP, using MSSQL, MySQL, and MS Access databases to automate manual tasks and streamline operations. My efforts saved the company thousands of man-hours on data collection and improved data accuracy. In addition to my web development work, I also took on various audio/visual projects for the company. I conceived and executed a plan to fully utilize the high-end Audio/Visual/Lighting system for recording/editing and disseminating audio and/or video for group meetings, hosted client events, classified project presentations, and general proposals. I also recorded audio of quarterly company earning report conference calls remotely over the phone and edited them extensively to increase audio fidelity and compress file sizes while maintaining quality. These recordings were posted to various outlets within an hour of the call. I also handled the internal telecommunication needs for the IT department and its workers, including activating new devices, porting, SIM/ESN swaps, corporate network connections, and more. In recognition of my contributions to streamlining operations and enhancing productivity within the company, I received an award for Outstanding Effort and Accomplishment directly from the CTO, along with the CEO and COO. Overall, my experience and skills in web development, IT, and audio/visual production make me a valuable asset to any team in need of technical support and development expertise. Show less

On this contract, I was the webmaster for Hogan Lovells (formely Hartson) Law firm in Washington, DC. I was responsible for maintaining and updating multiple, global, internal and external websites while working under the Director of Marketing. Using my expertise in ASP, Visual Interdev, Javascript, and Adobe Photoshop, I ensured these websites were always up-to-date and ran smoothly. Additionally, I contributed to the creation of CDs and brochures that were distributed at various meetings and tradeshows. One of my most significant achievements during my tenure at Hogan & Hartson was the complete automation of the registration process for the 2002 Partner/Counsel Retreat. Prior to my involvement, this process was a manual nightmare. However, using my knowledge, I was able to design and develop a database-driven application that allowed the staff to tailor the retreat to each individual attendee's needs. This project resulted in significant labor savings for the marketing department, totaling roughly $400,000, and was so successful that it was used again for the next retreat. Finally, I am also proud to have spearheaded the creation of a Disaster Relief donations intranet site for the victims of 9/11. This project quickly collected millions of dollars in donations from the firm's partners and counsel, and the firm matched that amount. Show less

I worked at numerous locations with RSI, the first was Wright Patterson AFB in the DAAS-C office as a PC Specialist. I was tasked with upgrading around 120 Pentium 75 workstations from Windows 95 to Dual Pentium Pro 200s under Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, with MS Exchange/Outlook as the mail client. To speed the process and make more consistent, I wrote a complex batch file to optimize the installation, which saved about 200 hours @ $75/hour. I also supported DAAS-C users, with issues from user errors to technical advice. Later once back at RSI HQ, I worked on numerous websites, building and maintaining dynamic elements using ASP, MS Access, Visual Interdev, HTML, Javascript, and Photoshop. I saved the company money by acquiring software and hardware through various channels. I assisted new employees with setup and administered much of the internal network. I also served as an HR liaison between RSI Corporate Executives and contractors at WPAFB. After some time, I was relocated to Virginia and started working with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). I was one of the webmasters of DLA, I redesigned their home page and JRTC-Ft. Polk Army Base's website using ASP under Microsoft IIS 4 & 5. I built a Y2K backup Requisition Status Tracking System (RSTAT) using ASP under IIS with Oracle as the RDBMS, which performed flawlessly under simulated switchover conditions. I also managed many critical web servers within the DLA, including the DLA.MIL and DLA Intranet servers, created graphics for various websites, and took care of customer requests for web and software updates.
