To support the technical team by administering information systems and provide all other administration services for the technical department and staff. Reporting to the Site Technical Manager. The key accountabilities include: Project management of new product launches and product changes, directly liaise with internal colleagues and external customers and suppliers. Complete product specifications on web based retail specification systems, including all supporting documentation ensuring deadlines are met. Check artwork to final copy ensuring packaging labelling information is correct. Update and maintain hard copy and computer based files. Request ingredient and packaging specifications, ensuring they are correct and available when required. Ensure all specifications are in date, signed and reviewed according to risk assessment Produce external reports as requested by our customers. Data inputting of chemical and microbial results and to liaise with the Technical Manager and relevant departments to report any out of specification results. Highlight any areas where the testing frequency/specification is not being met. Evaluate organoleptic quality of a product prior to launch. Produce shelf life testing reports (micro and organoleptic) Assist the Technical Manager in specific projects and prepare any information required by customers Ensure all products undergo the correct technical trials and to track products going through technical trials. Ensure all sampling paperwork is up to date.
