With certification in Composite Science, I taught secondary science from 1986-1999 (Lanier Middle School and the High School for Criminal Justice). With certification in Mid-Management Administration, I served as Assistant Principal, Instructional/Title I Coordinator for the Sharpstown Feeder Pattern, and Dean of Instruction for several campuses (Scarborough High School, Fondren Middle School and Cullen Middle School) within HISD. My greatest joys having worked with HISD for 30 years were the many academic accomplishments which were made through building capacity and fostering relationships with students, teachers and parents.
