As the sole nurse of the school district with over 2500 students, I was responsible for all health aspects and issues in the school district. I did training of teachers on medication administration, taught CPR/AED use and how to identify emergent situations. Formulation of a database of students with health issues, medications or those students that needed IEP's for the school year. House supervisor/ICU RN/Dialysis RN/

I began my nursing career at Langlade Hospital on the medical/surgical floor and after 15 months moved to the ICU where I spent six years working with vented patients, patients with SWAN GANZ lines, Art Lines, Cardiac Output and trauma's. This was a great learning experience with a vast array of skills that were gained in this position. At the end of my time in ICU I began working as a House Supervisor as well as my position in the ICU. At the end of my time in ICU I began working as a House Supervisor as well as my position in the ICU. My experience in the ICU prepared me for the position of House Supervisor and gave me a firm knowledge base to build on as well as allowing me to advance my nursing career. After leaving the ICU I worked a year in Dialysis because I felt to be well rounded in the House Supervisor's role, I needed to be competent in all aspects of the hospitals nursing. This was a great facility that I was able to build my nursing skills and hone them in to have a solid foundation in the nursing field.
