I have had the pleasure of working with Denise in several capacities over my career, but most recently we worked together on a fundraising event for the FOR-SITE Foundation. Denise jumped in to take the reigns on executing a 250-person Vernissage to celebrate the opening of an environmental art exhibition. The event was a major success and cornerstone to our fundraising $1M for the art exhibition. Denise is a consummate professional and someone who you can entrust to handle a project independently from start to finish. She is a savvy communicator (whether written or verbal), fastidiously organized and efficient, and she builds and maintains relationships easily. She is also great fun to work with as she approaches her work with both passion and pride. The Bay Area lost a savvy leader in the arts and cultural landscape with Denise's moving to the East Coast.

Denise is great to work with for lots of reasons, one being that she truly *gets* your organization, and it shows up across all aspects of her work. Working with her on 826 Valencia events, she quickly understood the core of our brand, could articulately express it (verbally and in writing), strategize about it, and maximize it. She can also keep it fresh, which is why we and others worked with her year after year. Whether writing a proposal for an event, collaborating on materials and marketing, or proposing and designing event strategies, Denise's work reflects the essence of your organization. Her work centers the needs and goals of all of her clients, and she keeps it fun. I recommend her highly!
