Responsible for maintenance and new development for ACBA (AT&T CRM Batch Application) utilizing Informatica, Unix shell scripting, and JAVA, Javascript and HTML. CRM used Oracle as the database. Responsible for full life-cycle development. Participated in meeting to define requirements. Developed software interface agreements, system feature and design documents, detailed design, and unit test plans. Documentation is stored using Documentum. Development includes a combination of UNIX scripting, Informatica programming, and some JAVA programming. For the first couple of years with AT&T, responsible for maintenance and new development on the “InstaRate - GUI” application which was used for maintaining the Common Rating/Miscellaneous Rating DB2 tables. These tables were used in the billing process and were written in Powerbuilder 10 using PFC functionality in a 2-tier environment. This application was retired in December 2006. Successfully converted the Common Rating/Miscellaneous Rating DB2 tables from the “InstaRate – GUI” to “ETM”. This involved moving the tables from DB2 over to Oracle for use in ETM. These tables then had to be defined in the XML for ETM along with any validation edits. Responsible for two major upgrades of Powerbuilder. Performed the conversion of Powerbuilder 6.5 to Powerbuilder 8 and from Powerbuilder 8 to Powerbuilder 10. Used PB Delta to compare Powerbuilder PFE pbl’s to determine custom code to be reentered into the new Powerbuilder PFE’s and the PFD corporate layer. Analyzed, designed, and redeveloped the dropdown datawindow logic so that generic dropdowns could be used in any environment. This eliminated over 265 objects and streamlined the maintenance and new development for dropdown datawindows. Operating Systems: Unix Software/Utilities: PB Delta, DB2 Connect, TOAD, Powerbuilder, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Java, C++, Cold Fusion, Unix shell scripting, CRON, Informatica Databases: DB2, Oracle Show less

Responsible for maintenance and new development on the “Merlin” System which was used for processing client incentive programs. Applications were written in Powerbuilder 6.5 using PFC functionality in a 3-tier environment with JAGUAR and CORBA as the middle tier. JAVA methods were called that accessed the ORACLE database and returned a result set of data to be used by powerbuilder. • Responsible for the conversion of Powerbuilder 6.5 to Powerbuilder 7.0.3. • Identified requirements, designed, and developed a system to process client files for participant enrollment, web enrollment, and performance claim entry. This system uses the IMPORTFILE function to read data from an external text file into a datawindow so it can be viewed by the user for data validation. The routines updated many ORACLE database tables and were executed depending on the predefined layout that is selected. The process combined many online window procedures and saved the user many hours of manual data entry. Report files were also created depending on the routines executed and were available for display on the window for the user to review. • Worked with DBA to design tables on the ORACLE database for a problem log system. Determined primary keys and any referential integrity constraints. • Analyzed client requirements, designed and coded COBOL programs for client processing on an HP9000 with an IMAGE database. Hardware: HP9000, Sun Solaris Operating Systems: Unix Software/Utilities: Object Cycle (version control), TOAD, PB Delta, Powerbuilder, COBOL, SQL, QUERY, Java Databases: Image, Oracle Show less
