Denise began advising me upon my acceptance into the Freshman Leadership Opportunity (FLO) Program in 2010. While under her supervision, she supported my growth and development throughout my college career. In addition, she fostered an environment of teamwork and collaboration between students involved with AS Programs and Government Affairs. She is extremely well-connected, supportive, and honest with her students. Her ability to assist students in finding their niche within a college campus and community is outstanding! Denise is highly respected by those she takes under wing, I know from personal experience because not only was she my advisor, but a mentor and now friend. She is organized, detail-oriented, and never fails to hold others (as well as herself) accountable. Denise was the best supervisor I have ever had and I would highly recommend her for any position regarding higher education, leadership, and/or student affairs.
