  MATH- The students are introduced to different strategies (number bonds, ten-frame) to find the solution to an addition equation. Students will use manipulatives, drawing, games, writing expressions and equations to practice addition. ENGLISH- This on-going secret sentence class is a sure way to engage students while they are practicing their beginning sounds, sight words and CVC words. To complete the provided activity, they write the beginning sound of each picture to reveal the secret sentence and then they rewrite the sentence using proper punctuation. Each student will take turns being a detective and solving the clues. This is an excellent class to have students engage in beginning sounds and code cracking. SOCIAL- In this ongoing class, students will make new friends and practice conversational skills discussing things that interests them. This is a social class for children to share their favorite toy, art, stuffed animal, book/poem, activity, or dance move. To make the class a bit more engaging and interesting, students will have a chance to guess what other students are sharing by providing them with 3 clues (how cool)! Animal Trivia- In this one time class, students will have fun, painting and/or coloring while being engaged by an animal trivia. Students will learn fun facts about a variety of animals. Students will have the opportunity to guess the answer before they learn which answer is correct. Health- In this fun and interactive, one-time class, students will enjoy learning about their favorite foods through a food trivia. Class will begin with instructions, and introduction where students will state their names, state and current weather. What was the first food eaten in space? Is a strawberry really a berry? What red food is actually a fruit and not a veggie? Students will discuss and learn cool and interesting facts about food that they may not have known before.
