  National delivery manager responsible for track specific projects across the Irish Rail network, including large scale track renewals/enhancements and alterations to the operational railway as part of our Capital Investment Projects.

  Took charge of the track upgrade of the Dublin to Cork Line. Developed the project delivery strategy that minimised the impact on rail services. Established the organisational structure of the project delivery team and led the team on all aspects of safety, design & delivery of a circa €300million project to upgrade the Dublin to Cork Route. The project will provide high class track infrastructure for the safe and optimal operation of services on the key Dublin/Cork route.

  Project managed the ballast cleaning and drainage works on the Dublin to Cork Line with an annual budget of €10million. These works encompassed the renewal of the track formation, upgrade of track geometry and installation of lineside drainage.

  Responsible for the maintenance programme and individual asset renewals of track and structures in Kildare region of the Dublin/Cork Line. Ensured all works were carried out in accordance with relevant Technical Standards

  Responsible of carrying out various programmes of structural & safety inspections on all track & structure assets across the Dublin Division. Created inspection reports which highlight design faults, current condition, the anticipated rate of deterioration and recommended remediation measures required.
