  RESPONSIBILITIES Supervising and coordinating all operational activities in the plant Preparation and compilation of daily production report Supervising and mentoring lower grade Operators/Engineers Taking daily log of operational activities in the plant Receiving AGO trucks and coordinating the unloading of the AGO into diesel bulk storage tank Taking record of daily AGO, Natural gas, chemicals and other consumables used for production Receiving and stocking/storing of various chemicals Training and development of operational staff and familiarize them with safety polices Coordinating the isolation of process plant for maintenance Issuing and endorsing safety work permit for job to be done Carrying out daily plant house keeping Supervise production line operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures. Conduct employee performance reviews. Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations. Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers. Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels. Schedule and conduct shift meetings. Responsible to meet shift production goals. Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs). Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Plant Manager. Ensure a clean and safe work area. Complete shift paper work. Assist in production as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
