Reporting to the Unit Managing Director leading a team with 4 supervisors and 120 employees. Responsible for the industrial operations of the disconnector and instrument transformer businesses. Responsible for executing customer-focused activities, formulating strategic and operational objectives, tracking financial data and using it to improve profitability, manage budget and forecasts, perform quality control and monitor production KPIs; recruit, train and supervise employees. Key achievements: ◾ Start up of a new factory for disconnectors in Brazil in 2 years. All disconnectors were imported from Italy, bringing enormous logistical difficulties and uncompetitive costs. ◾ In the first year, he worked in immersion in Italy coordinating technology transfer activities. In the second year, he managed and carried out the assembly of the factory in Brazil. ◾ The unit's results reversed from negative to + 10%, making Alstom the No. 1 in market share in Brazil. ◾ Recovery of the quality levels in the instrument transformers manufacturing, at a time of adapting to the new technology and sudden change of the entire factory leadership. ◾ Act to preserve the talents that began to be harassed by the newly created competitor by the directors who left. ◾ Find out the best practices by Benchmarking units in India and the USA with better results and creating a crisis office to deal with the delay in deliveries. ◾ In 18 months new manufacturing processes were improved, reaching 98% approval in the first test. ◾ The wear and tear with customers was reversed and the factory's positive image was preserved.
