Bio
Michael H Babcock
Denia came into our office as a ray of sunlight and raised the bar on what we came to expect from student workers. She came in as a young student happy to have an opportunity to help out, but by the time she finished her junior year, it was quite clear she was going to be someone going places after graduation. Not only did she take a chance moving halfway across the country for her undergraduate degree, but she stuck around an extra summer going to work at a place where she knew very few people at, and didn't know what to expect. That takes courage, and if you take a look at her numbers as an NCAA athlete, you'll know those types of results don't come from pure talent alone. She gets after it, has the sisu needed to succeed and works her tail off to make things happen. She also brings a positive attitude, great ability to multi-task and proved herself to be incredibly responsible. All of that is about who she is, and that's vital if you're looking at her for a position at your organization. But don't overlook the raw talent she has. Picking up a camera and taking good photos comes naturally to her. She sees things in scenes and people that most people don't. It's the kind of vision that you can't teach. She proved to our department to be a competent graphic designer and dabbled in video work. She was eager to learn and handled everything thrown at her. An organization will be lucky to have her on their team. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend her. I can't wait to see where the future takes her!
