Re: Demi Moore at Storage King Worcester Feb 2013 - Ongoing To whom it may concern, Demi had been working at Storage King Worcester since February 2013. In this time she has learnt a varied role and very quickly became a valued asset to the business, she picked up the day to day running of the store very well and adapted between her full time University course and working a couple of days a week extremely well. In May 2014 Demi was asked if she would like to cover more hours for a few months to while we trained up a new staff member. Demi agreed and was a back up to the main Business Manager. It was a perfect solution as Demi had a few months off from her studies as the university term had ended. Demi quickly adapted to this new role, it was a massive step up and responsibility for her which she took in her stride, she came across new challenges and overcame them with little guidance and advice and she became a huge support during this time. A few of the main responsibilities Demi dealt with were: Customers Contracts / Storage agreements / Customer payment issues and procedures. Daily tasks included administration, computer programmes and software, Finance, Managing budgets, invoices, purchase orders, deliveries, collections and maintenance issues. Demi also got involved with banking, weekly and monthly finance reports, Stock takes and ordering stock and Marketing. During this time Demi had the full responsibility of running the site on certain occasion’s. It is an absolute pleasure working with Demi who I have no doubt will have a very exciting and rewarding career in Business and Finance. She will be an extremely valuable asset in any working environment when she decides to go full time in her chosen career.

As a sales executive, it was my job to communicate confidence and expertise to customers in face to face contact, email contact, and telephone contact. This required me to be able to build relationships with customers, and also to know the industry well. It is important for me to also have a strong attention to detail on customer accounts, to demonstrate an efficient and high standard of service.

    • Stand In Assistant Manager
      • May 2014 - Jun 2014

During the summer of 2014 I was asked to stand in for Assistant Manager for a few months while they recruited and trained up the new member of staff for the role. This worked well for me as it enabled me to gain more experience and responsibility between my 2nd and 3rd year of University. I had already been working as a part time sales assistant at Storage King for a while, so was happy to take on this full time role during the University break. Extra responsibilities included administrative tasks, end of day/month finance and banking, opening and closing of the facility, lone working, working with budgets, achieving targets, and working alongside and communicating with the store Manager.
