As a Creative Director of different New York City ad agencies, I have worked with many talented creative people. What I can say about Delphine Manet is that she is a stand-out among stand-outs. To put it bluntly, working with Delphine is wonderful. She has an enormous amount of technological knowledge – and if she doesn’t know something, she’ll spend all night researching it, and by the next morning, she’ll use the new tool or program with ease. As a designer, there is none better. She has an eye for all things graphic. She is determined to be modern and fresh, so the reader can’t help but be pulled into the page. Then there’s the fact that Delphine is a phenomenal photographer. You can often find her whizzing on her electric scooter all over the city, shooting everything from building graffiti to bird sanctuaries, from renovated train stations to different kinds of cheesecakes! Getty Images has nothing on her. Her work ethic? I would not call her a workhorse. I would call her a workelephant. Delphine is happiest when she’s working – when given an assignment, she throws herself into it right away, so it always gets done earlier than you need it. Most important of all is her attitude. She is so willing to help in any way she can, she loves collaborating, she’s very smart and she’s great fun to work with. Don’t let her get away! She will prove to be invaluable.

      • 2017 - Aug 2021

Since 1992, Big Apple Greeter’s free “welcome visitor” service has promoted New York City worldwide and helped more than 120,000 visitors discover the City’s ethnically and culturally diverse neighborhoods through the eyes of those who know it best – New Yorkers. With an increase in travel to the United States from foreign countries, Big Apple Greeter’s services are more in demand than ever. Since I began volunteering at Big Apple Greeter, I’ve been working closely with the Executive Director on several fundraising campaigns and events. This implied for ex:  designing the various newsletters using Mailchimp  setting up our fundraiser on our FB page as well as on other platforms such as CrowdRise  using Survey Monkey to help us reach and gain to our cause more donors  designing some communication visuals for our open houses or for other promotion events  helping coordinate the “thank you” dealing with our Donor Quest data base, excel exports and google mail merge.  extracting and analyzing data from our Access database to produce reports for the numerous NYC Council Members to trigger government funding  setting up campaigns on mailchimp  editing our website, working in Word Press  implementing our new donation form via Donorbox  helping transitioning technology and adopting a new Donor Management Solution to leverage donations My multitasking abilities and my polyvalence in a wide range of fields (including foreign languages) are much appreciated. Accueil New York is a French non-profit organization whose mission is to welcome and support the French expats in New York. A wide variety of cultural activities in all the 5 boroughs of NYC is offered to its members. Since I began volunteering for this French expat organization, my involvement has been multi-folded:  With another French compatriot we offer cooking classes to our members, a much appreciated activity as you might guess.  In addition to co-leading this activity, I’m the writer and editor for this section of our webpage. This implies creating communication visuals as well as articles to promote our activity.  I’m also in charge of the Facebook page of our organization. I publish daily posts to inform and share with our members the latest exhibits, conferences, concerts, tips, festivals etc. in New York.  As for the website itself, I’ve designed ads and I’m proofreading our weekly newsletter.
