My main role as a welfare leader was to ensure that pastoral care of all students was appropriately met and that all students were integrating and respecting each other and all the different cultures and religions within the programme. I also assisted the activity team with leading and supervising excursions and activities; as well as the teaching team with invigilating and marking exams. I also had to run activities that I had very little experience with such as drama workshops. Specialist Camp Counsellor: Horseback Riding

Responsible for assisting in the social development, pastoral care and well-being of the students under the direction and guidance of the camp director. In charge of organising, planning and running the horse riding lessons and responding to the strengths and needs of pupils during lessons. Duties To organise and run horse riding lessons for the campers. To help organise and run activities for when normal activities were unable to run due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. To supervise campers during meal times. To help organise and run the evening activities for the campers. To supervise a bunk of campers in the evenings before lights out.
