Spend a day with Del and you will find he's an artist with an obvious love for the process and art of creating characters. His enthusiasm for building on the strong artistic and technical foundation that he already possesses is infectious, watching Del work just makes you want to be a better artist. He has an enviable knowledge on all aspects of character creation. From facial anatomy through to boot soles, Del has taken it upon himself to know how these things are put together so that he can replicate them flawlessly in three dimensions, or have an understanding of their forms so that he can stylize creations effortlessly. 10/10 would work with again :D

Del took part in two different workshops I gave at De Montfort, and he was attentive, asked plenty of questions, but most importantly, he put aspects of the workshop into practice in his work. He is one of the few students I've kept in touch with after the workshops, and it's a real pleasure to watch his portfolio progress. I no longer consider him a student, but a peer with comparable work, which is the most I can ever ask for as an instructor.
