  Applied a range of skills and experience in * creating a DMS test application using Triangle Microworks DNP3 Protocol Test Harness* created Python and C# event-driven plugins for TMW to generate real-time event and analog trafficHighlight: I conceived and built a full simulation of the UE field telemetry (900 RTUs, 600 bearers, 6000 controls, 4000 setpoints, 30000 statuses, 25000 analogs) with logic to replicate feedback for every control pointThis enabled the SCADA and DMS delivery teams to execute EVERY control on both the legacy system and the test system, record the resulting events and systematically compare the results. In the final stages of pre-deployment this process exposed a number of error scenarios (affecting 100-200 controls) which were able to be corrected without affecting live operations.The result was an extremely trouble-free live deployment, in the middle of the hottest month of 2016.Later, a variant of this facility was used in testing the FLISR application. Again, we were able to faithfully recreate almost any imaginable Use Case, repeatedly, to detect faults, validate corrections and perform regression testing.
