I have inspected over 150 homes for storm damage in Texas and Colorado. Handling mostly Allstate claims, Global Risk Solutions is contracted to complete home inspections to document damages that will be looked over by desk adjusters. Documentation must be detailed and include measurements and many pictures so that the desk adjusters are able to easily write the claims. Close contact with homeowners and contractors must be logged to ensure the claims process runs smoothly. A typical inspection takes an hour to an hour and a half and includes over 100 photographs.

I was the project manager for over 75 roof installations with Choice Roofing Care. Project management included scheduling builds and coordinating with the homeowner, supply house, and up to 7 different contractors. I managed up to 3 crews of 6-12 workers each day to ensure the work being done met high company standards. I performed roof inspections that came through online leads and word of mouth referrals. After documenting damage and updating the homeowner on the condition of their roof, I would guide them through the next steps of the insurance claims process. Once given the insurance claim, I would write and negotiate contracts with the homeowner.
