I worked at FEGS out patient mental health clinic in the Bronx beginning in November 2013. JBFCS (Jewish Board) took over their operations in June of 2015. It feels greatly satisfying to be able to use my clinical skills while obtaining supervision which enabled me to complete the clinical hours necessary to sit for the LCSW exam. I am working with individuals, couples, families and groups. I also complete intakes and assessments, referrals and case management as necessary. The clients I work with are varied. Diagnoses include Bipolar, Major Depressive, Schizoaffective disorders, as well as Schizophrenia and autism. It is also inspiring working with so many dedicated, caring individuals who every day work to improve the lives of those who are suffering from mental health and co-occuring disorders.
