  As a sub-editor, my role is to ensure that all the news copies written by writers from various different teams are accurate, easy to understand and error free. I am also responsible for ensuring that the headlines for the copies are catchy, avoid clickbait and fit the characters count. Apart from this, I have to edit and format copies based on the company style guide and ensure that the cover image fits the topic at hand.
